The Baltic Geospatial Information Technology Conference 2020 -registration is now open!



The Baltic Geospatial Information Technology Conference 2020 will be held on March 6th in Riga at the Academic Center of the University of Latvia.

The main goal of the conference is to create unified understanding and vision on geospatial information technology industry in the Baltic region and exchange experiences to expand knowledge and innovation as well as market opportunities.  

Throughout the day, conference attendees will have an opportunity to listen to local and international presenters in several parallel sessions, and attend workshops, meet industry representatives and exchange ideas and opinions. Keynote speech will be given by Steve Coast, the founder of the OpenStreetMap community-based world mapping project and geography-related company CloudMade.

The Baltic Geospatial Information Technology Conference 2020 is organized by the Latvia's GIS Association, Estonian Geoinformatics Society and Lithuanian Cartographic Society. Partners of the conference are Latvia’s State Forests, Jāņa sēta Map Publishers, Autentica, Topodati, Latvian Mobile Telephone (LMT), Mikrokods, HERE Technologies, Mērniecības Datu Centrs and Visma.
